I would like to thank you for taking the time to learn more about my photography services and me.
I believe good chemistry with my clients is important in achieving the best work possible. I think one of the best ways to establish good chemistry is to get to know a little about each other. That said, let me tell you a little more about myself. I grew up in Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech. While in college, I worked for Disney and studied abroad in Australia. I fell in love with Australia’s culture and sports.
2018 will be 20 years since I was in Australia and I plan to go back to reconnect with friends and go to some Australian rules football matches. Traveling really opened my eyes to the world and I have been enjoying it ever since. I started as a travel photographer but now I have transformed myself into a portrait photographer telling stories and capturing the love of others.
I photograph weddings and family portraits mostly in North Carolina but often travel to other states and countries for destination weddings and events.
I love music and seeing music evolve thru time. As a creative, I enjoy performances that involve visual stimulation. For the last 5 years, I have traveled to Iceland to photograph an awesome music festival called Iceland Airwaves.
I love experiencing new cultures and cuisines. My favorite food is Thai. A few years ago, I went to the north of Thailand and took a cooking course. My cooking is sub-par to say the least. I order takeout most of the time and I also enjoy finding unique restaurants that provoke my taste buds.
I am a collector of oddities. I enjoy going to antique stores and browsing flea markets for interesting and unusual items.
I married my wonderful wife, Leigh, in 2011. We have an amazing son named Kit and two dogs. We love to hike, camp, and surround ourselves with the outdoors. If I’m not taking photos or traveling you can find me researching our next family adventure.
I love weddings, I love people, I think everyone is important and deserves to have his/her story told.
I would love to get to know you and speak with you about your event.
